Cari Cohen’s sculptural works are rooted in her appreciation for architecture and the urban environment. Using materials such as concrete, mirror, and plexiglass - sometimes shaped, other times left as-is, her practice emphasizes the transformation of these materials into dynamic forms that echo the structure and spontaneity of cityscapes. Inspired by the dualities of order and chaos, Cohen's sculptures merge organic curves with angular lines, capturing the tension and harmony found in built spaces.
Originally from Argentina, with a degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires, she has exhibited widely in the United States, with her work featured in private and corporate collections. Cohen currently lives and works outside of Miami, FL.
